History of Britain

My most inpressive learning about Britain during my recent visit to London are follows.

1. To know about Alfred the Great ( 871-899) , who is founder of Britain monarchy , who won the battle against invasion threat of Viking .

2. Wars of the Roses (1455-1487) between Lancaster and York . It was internal war , similar to Japanese Onin no Ran ,

3. The time of Shakespear ( 1564-1616) was around the time of Tokugawa Ieyasu in Japan . I like the Shakespear expression that Life is theater, every man and women are just playing the role .
